... they're gone! A hummingbird at the Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The hummingbirds there were fairly used to people walking around, so I was able to get some photos with my macro lens. I've never lived in a place with hummingbirds, so this was my first time really looking at one up close. The structure of the feathers around their beaks was quite interesting to me. Plus, I didn't know how loud and territorial these little guys are!
Yeah, I was pretty amazed too at how lucky I was - all my hummingbird photos I have posted here were taken with my macro lens. Definitely don't get to do that every day!
