This is the Oseberg ship that is displayed at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. It's amazingly well-preserved and the details on the ship are impressive. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area!

This is just freakin brilliant! Going with this close up, instead of the whole ship is smart. Using such a unique pov was a most excellent choice. It also really shows us the amazing detail as well.

Thank you! Actually, at the museum it was really nice because they had staircases up to a platform where you actually could get the whole ship in a photo. But I did prefer getting a nice shot of the detail on the side of the ship since I found that to be pretty impressive.
