Description

An Owl Butterfly at the Tucson Botanical Garden in Arizona. Of course, the most striking thing about these butterflies is the spots on their wings that mimic owl eyes to ward off predators. But I thought their actual eyes were quite interesting looking too!

wow! Q: what lens did you use? There would be no way i can get close to a butterfly with my lens, i only just managed to take a photo of a frog, but he was 4inches away from the lens :P
